Rules and regulations are laws or instructions guiding a particular place, organization, country etc, And it is expected that people under the organization obeys the law (rules and regulations).

6. Discipline: To be disciplined means that the students or pupils obeys the rules and orders. He should behave in good and controlled manner. He should not disobey any school rule.

For the pupils or students to obey school rules and regulations, certain conditions has to be met. They involve:

1. Obeying Rules: The students has to be ready to obey instructions as they may come from teachers or the monitors/prefects. Instructions which has to be obeyed may include, doing assignments, sweeping the classroom etc.

2. Being Regular: This involves coming to school always. A regular student does not miss any lessons.

3. Being Neat: It is important to appear neat as he or she dressed for school. There is need to wear proper school uniform, comb or brush the hair properlu, brush the teeth, wear polished sandals. Appearance really matters.

3. Being Punctual: Promptness in coming to school, taking and doing class work is involved. Doing class work and assignment develops him educationally. The students settles down before the lessons begins.

4. Attracts Love: An obedient child is loved by all who comes around him. Teachers and the school authority will be attracted to his good behaviour and this will attract favours to him.

Some of the consequences of disobeying school rules and regulations include:

1. Punishment: This punishment ranges from one form to the other. A student who disobeys school rules and regulations may be asked to kneel down for a period of time, may be caned by the teacher, sked to cut grass, wash toilet, or sweep the compound.

2. Failure: A student who disobeys rules is likey to fail his examinations and may likely not be promoted to the next class. This is because by the time he is serving one form of punishment or another, others are in the class learning.
