Dion Marquise Hayes (born November 25, 1995) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who goes by the moniker 42 Dugg. He’s signed to Interscope Records and Lil Baby’s and Yo Gotti’s labels, 4 Pockets Full (4PF) and Collective Music Group (CMG), respectively. He is most known for his collaborations with American rapper Lil Baby, including as “Grace” and “We Paid,” the latter of which became his first Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit. Young & Turnt 2 was his second mixtape, and it was well-received, debuting on the Billboard 200 chart.  Free Dem Boyz, his fourth mixtape, was released in 2021 and reached number 8 on the Billboard 200.
“The Streets” and “STFU” were Hayes’ first hit singles. He signed to Lil Baby’s 4 Pockets Full (4PF) and Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) in partnership with Interscope Records after writing slam poetry with him. When Lil Baby’s song “Grace” peaked at number 48 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2020, 42 Dugg gained national attention. In May 2020, he was also featured on Lil Baby’s song “We Paid,” which reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Young & Turnt 2 soared to number 58 on the Billboard 200 and number six on the Billboard Independent Albums chart as a result of this.  Hayes capitalized on his success by performing guest appearances on songs by various musicians, including Marshmello, Lil Keed, Meek Mill, Blac Youngsta, Big Sean, T.I., Kaash Paige, Tory Lanez and Mulatto.
