Lauren London was born in Los Angeles on December 5, 1984, and attended Palisades High School before opting to be home-schooled so she could focus on her acting career.
She began her professional career by participating in music videos for Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Tyrese, T.I., Ludacris, Common, and Ne-Yo, among others. In 2006, she moved into the film and television industry. London rose to prominence after a guest appearance on “Everybody Hates Chris” in the episode “Everbody Hates Funerals.” London landed her first film job the following year, playing T.I.’s romantic interest in the coming-of-age drama “ATL.” Her performance was praised by critics, and she was nominated for a Black Movie Award for Best Support Actress. She scored a role on HBO’s “Entourage” the following year, portraying Turtle’s love interest. Later in 2007,She was cast in “This Christmas” without having to audition because of her outstanding performance in “ATL.” She became a spokesmodel for Sean John’s women’s line the same year. London was cast as Christina in season 1 of the relaunch of “90210” in 2008. In the 2009 film “Next Day Air,” she played the character of Ivy. She has appeared on the covers of the magazines King and Jewel and played Cammy Alcott in the Chris Columbus film “I Love You, Beth Cooper.”
